Overview
Whether working on a small but mighty team or one that’s fully resourced, I believe it’s essential to create content documentation and systems that support cross-functional teams of any size and helps them scale. Goals include increasing team efficiency and high quality output, and maintaining consistency and cohesion for users.
I saw an opportunity to make high quality content easy to access and implement for product designers. I made 3 different tools to support this, including Writer AI snippets for Figma.
In Writer AI, I created templates for common system messages that that were consistent with our content guidelines. With the Writer plugin in Figma, product designers could then copy and paste these “snippets” directly into design files, and then edit them to fit their use case if needed.
